Mr Dogtooth, also known as Rick at Dogtooth, is North Yorkshire’s answer to a simple question: what happens when a business owner realises that an artistic urge is not going away? After years of balancing two ventures, Rick came to see that the creativity he had carried since childhood was not just about graphics or branding. It was about putting pen to paper, or any surface, and developing artwork in its own right.

What started as “just doodling” has become something more deliberate. Rather than limiting himself to running a design business, Rick has chosen to give art the attention it has always demanded. It may not be the most predictable route, but it is the one that feels authentic.

To mark this step, Rick has launched a website dedicated to showcasing his artwork. It is a space where visitors can explore what he has been creating and, if something resonates, support the work by sharing it or owning a piece.
